Nietzsche, All-Too-Nietzsche
Nietzsche, All-Too-Nietzsche begins with a deeply personal introduction and goes on to explore a comprehensive Nietzschepedia that unpacks his primary concepts, meets his interlocutors, and passes into a collection of meta-commentaries on the philosopher’s books and essays.
This “love letter to a post-postmodern Nietzsche" as an early ecologist and systems thinker, is the second book in the Moustache trilogy that began with Gurdjieff for a Time Between Worlds by Layman Pascal.

SEX, DEATH & THE OCCULT
Part textbook, part transcription of an online course, & part poetic grimoire. A grimoire is a fancy term for a collection of magical practices and ideas. Do you believe in magic? Does anyone really believe or disbelieve in magic? Maybe it is more about a kind of feeling. A special flavor of attention, energy and embodiment. A collection of interests in symbolism, manifestation, intention, ritual, ancient wisdom and the emancipatory vibe of all things wondrous. The provocative title of this book (Sex, Death & the Occult) is an homage to my childhood mentor Robert Anton Wilson and reflects the name of an online course hosted by my friends at the Parallax Academy. The basic content of this book is the transcription of that course, additionally my personal willingness to engage in the “occult” versions of wisdom development alongside my other work in more standard areas of existential self-cultivation and community building. Author: Layman Pascal Published by Parallax
In this first volume of his book series The Evolution of Meaning, Dempsey introduces a theory of meaning based in thermodynamics and information processing. Tracking the trajectory of this learning process through the emergent levels of Matter, Life, Mind, and Culture, we see how meaning takes on new shades of depth and informational richness across scales. Author: Brendan Dempsey Published by Sky Meadow Press Narrated by Layman Pascal
Gurdjieff for a Time Between Worlds: Hyperpersonal Essays on the Grandfather of Metamodern Spirituality

In this collection of diverse and humorous micro-essays, spiritual teacher, philosopher, and cultural activist Layman Pascal takes us on a wild intellectual rollercoaster ride with one of history’s most enduringly relevant and cryptic sages.

I learned to draw will-lines through my experiences with addiction. Drawing the line requires a lot of effort, but once it is drawn clearly without any gaps, following it is easy. I don’t have to think about whether to smoke anymore, the decision is made. It is my will not to smoke. The most common application of will is in this negative capacity. Ask someone about the moments that changed their life and you’ll hear refusal before ambition: “I couldn’t keep living like that.”, “I knew I had to leave.” The body draws the line before the mind has a plan, and that’s wise, because it’s much safer to say no than to say yes. The future has many moving pieces, and it’s easier to know which ones you don’t want.

Hyperhumanist apocalyptarian accelerationism. That is a long mouthful-o-words. Hyperhumanism is a way of talking about a humane alternative to transhumanism. Significant historical and technological transformations are obviously taking place in our world, but there is no need to imagine that our transformation is merely about cyborgs, digital consciousness, and genetic life extension. There are many archaic potentials and fully human mutations that might lurk down more decent, beautiful, and organically complex future pathways. In many profound ways, we do not even yet know what a human being IS or can DO. Apocalyptarianism is my own term. It describes our need to recognize and adapt to the increase of cosmic weirdness in the “time between worlds.” Radical changes are occurring. The metacrisis is both doom and opportunity. The general population's vibe is anxious, discombulated, and we recognize something important in the image of the apocalypse. That sense of radical change, perplexity, and in-betweenness is becoming the dominant characteristic of our times. Okay, now that those two are out of the way — what is accelerationism?
